El Gouna is located about 35 kilometres north of Hurghada, one of the youngest towns in one of the oldest countries. It has been planned in such a way to ensure that the tourists’ most precious weeks of the year are as enjoyable as possible. Yet, El Gouna is not just a tourist town. El Gouna is known for its upscale infrastructure, which includes its own seawater desalination plant, a hospital, international schools and a wide range of leisure activities. What makes El Gouna so attractive to divers is the variety of dive sites and especially the possibility for wreck dives.

The ORCA Dive Club in the legendary “Turtle's Inn” is located directly at Abu-Tig marina, the promenade in El Gouna. The diving centre is equipped with 150 twelve litres aluminium tanks which have DIN-connections. The necessary air is provided by a Bauer K 15.1 with air provision speed of 450 l/min and a Nitrox unit which also provides 450 litres per minute. The base has a total of 30 rental equipment sets some of which are suitable for children. There are also 8 litre steel bottles available for kids.
