A beautiful dive site overgrown with large fish. Sometimes the exit is not easy. A fix mounted cable is then very helpful.
Is the most far from all Shaabs. The site is not well protected from waves and north wind. Because of the distance from the coast and not so many boats passing by, it is possible to see white tip reef shark here. The waves and the current made strange shapes in the hard coral and we can see little fishes hunted by barracudas near the surface.
The reef is long and offers protection from the north wind on the south and west side. It´s interesting when you dive a part in the east and a part in the west side, crossing the reef through the caves and the open spaces along the reef. Near to the south part, the caves are very beautiful and we find soft and hard corals and may little fishes all around.
The house reef at the Orca Dive Club Shoni Bay provides access from the somehow very long jetty. Beautiful overgrown dropoff and a rich marine life characterize the reef.
The legendary reputation of Shaab Samadai rests on a school of about 60 spinner dolphins. But the nice dropoff and an extensive system of canyons make a dive there a memorable one.
Shaab Alam is a dive site, which is often used for drift dives. The beautifully vegetated steep reef, with its hard and soft corals shelter for numerous species. Always there is the chance of an encounter with a large Napoleon, a turtle or a reef shark.
The Elphinstone is among divers a legend. Solitary offshore reef in elevation of about 100 meters. The diversity is huge. Highlights include encounters with Longimanus sharks and - yes to the season - hammerheads. The flow, however, can sometimes be tricky here.
A shallow coral garden with some blocks. The biodiversity here is great, but fish do not even play the main role. The highlight is namely the wreck lying here.
From a flat sandy bottom, several nice vegetated coral blocks elevate. Stone and scorpion fish can be found here. In addition you can watch bigger swarms of pennant fish and Fusilier.
This place will especially appreciate by beginners. There is virtually no flow, the entry to the beautiful overgrown coral garden is not difficult and there is a lot of see marine life, which is typical of the Red Sea, as blue spotted ray, lionfish and moray eels.
The fringing reef beside of the small bay of Marsa Eglah are indeed covered nicely. But most divers attracted to the extensive seagrass bed in the middle. This is the living room of a sea cow or dugong named.
The former military port is well protected. Here you can actually always dive. The place is not too deep and there are ergs of various sizes. Regularly be seen here barracuda swarms. Also for turtles friends suitable space.
A very diversified large dive site with many variation possibilities. Overgrown beautiful, rich in fish and always good for several turtle encounters.
The access from a cave makes this spot very interesting. Many caves and cuts provide an exciting diving experience. Moreover, there is always the chance of sharks.
The shallow coral garden offers hard and soft corals beside some caves. Poison fish hiding in the coral blocks. Between them repeatedly show larger swarms fusiliers, banner fish, barbel and mackerel.
A narrow Canon into a coral garden with larger and smaller ergs. Finally, it goes to a drop-off, can be expected tunas and sharks.
Partly coral gardens on a flat sandy bottom ensure a comfortable dive and encounters with the typical Red Sea residents.
A shallow dive site. Partly hard corals and some caves make the area interesting. Schooling fish and camouflaged species like rockfish are represented here.
Caves, grottos and hard corals make this dive interesting. There is also always the chance of a reef shark.
Caves, grottos and hard corals make this dive site interesting. Isolated boulders and reef ledges are home to a wide variety of red sea dwellers. Very often large schools of young barracudas can be seen.
The reef in front of the Orca Dive Club Moreen offers two different entry possibilities: either the short from the Jetty -or more spectacular but a little tedious from the beach through a canyon. Beautifully covered dropoff and a rich marine life characterize the reef.
Here we can make at least 3 different dives, according to the current and the experience of the divers. On the north side there is a vast coral garden in the shape as big “plum cakes” on the sandy bottom. More near to the reef we find little Habili and some of them with soft corals, black corals (at 14 m depth) and often a big coral grouper. The south part of the reef is full of little caves from 7 m depth up to the surface.
This site is very well protected from waves and wind in the north. One of the most beautiful dives is from Shaab Abu Dabbab 2 to Shaab Abu Dabbab 3 to find the remains of the HEAVEN 1 which lies on the bottom at 15 m. The wreck is almost destroyed but it´s fun to play around the tubes, to look for the 2 propellors. From Shaab Abu Dabbab 2 to Shaab Abu Dabbab 3 there are 3 Habili which almost reach the surface and which are frequently visited by turtles.

The reef is very well protected from the waves and wind. However, the northern part is exposed to the waves and it is more convenient to dive in the north-east corner and go around the reef clockwise, where we find small and large towers. Soft corals, butterfly fish and frogfish hide here. It is important to pay attention to the current and not to go so far from the reef.
The dive site offers a tunnel system with 3 interconnected pools. The current can be strong in the tunnels and the rope system provides good assistance. The tunnels are only partially closed overhead and provide access to the surface most of the time. After the canyons there is one of the most beautiful coral gardens. This dive site can also be dived as a drift dive. You can observe turtles, gray snappers, coral groupers, barracudas and batfish.
